Day - 01
You will be received on arrival and driven to Jetwing Beach. Just 30 minutes from the Katunayake Bandaranaike international airport.

Day - 02
Relax, read, swim or enjoy the sunrise on the beach, and you may also visit the famous Negombo fishing village “ Lellama”-the second largest fish market of the country . Fish caught by thousands of fishing boats are brought ashore and sold at auction predominantly for export.

Day - 03
Today you will be driven to Pinnawela where an orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. It currently foster one of the largest elephant herd in captivity in the world. Thereafter we’ll leave for Cultural Triangle - the ancient heart of Sri Lanka. From there you can explore the Ancient city of Dambulla, Polonnaruwa & Sigiriya. Drive time approx. 3 hrs

Day - 04
Today you could opt to visit Polonnaruwa an, ancient royal capital, with its well-preserved 12th century ruins & impressive stone culture that recalls an inspiring past. A great way to explore the ancient city is on a bicycle – which can be rented from the Polonnaruwa Rest House.

This evening, visit Minneriya or Kaudulla National Parks. A safari inside one of these parks is a thrilling way to see the wilderness & birds at close quarters, as well as the lake-gatherings of elephant herds in the evenings. Both parks are known for its elephants, whom you can witness in their playfulness, , adults & babies bathing and playing in the water or feeding. Minneriya is said to have the highest density of Sri Lankan elephants. Watch out for crocodiles basking in the evening sun.

Day - 05
Spend the morning visiting the beautiful Dambulla cave temple, the largest cave monastery in the country with a history going back to the 1st century BC. It is also renowned as the Golden Temple consisting of five separate caves housing Buddhist statues and vivid paintings, arousing a sense of placidity and spirituality. The rest of the day just soaks in the atmosphere.

Leave for Galle via Kurunegala and Colombo approximately 6 & ½ hrs drive.
